Alessi to Celebrate Universal Children’s Day November 20, 2008
Alessi, a leader in tabletop design, has supported the International “Amici dei Bambini” association for many years, with different projects to help the dreams of abandoned children worldwide come true. In 2007 they launched ‘T-Dreams’, a collection of T-shirts designed by eight famous international designers.
In 2008 Alessandro Mendini is contributing by providing his famous corkscrew with a delicate sky-blue costume covered in white clouds, ‘Alessandro M. – Sun Dream’. All proceeds from the sale of the corkscrew will be donated to help realise the dreams of many underprivileged children in orphanages in Brazil and Mongolia.
